What To Eat Before Your Morning Workout
Instead of drinking a pre-workout, I prefer to eat my pre-workout. When eating food before a workout, it delivers a much higher nutritional value as opposed to the leading pre-workout powders which have little to no nutritional value and very high in caffeine. I recommend eating your food between 30-90 minutes to allow your body to digest it and use it as energy for your workout. Choose foods that are light and easily digestible and have a good source of good fat, carbohydrates and protein. Three of my favorite foods to eat before my morning workout are: Avocado Toast, Almond Butter Toast and Oatmeal.
Almond Butter Toast, topped with Banana and Chia Seeds
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon of Justin's Almond Butter
1 Slice of Dave's Killer Bread (Power Seed)

1/4 of a Lemon
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
Pinch of Sea Salt and Black Pepper
Oatmeal, topped with Granola and Blueberries

1/4 Cup Oats
3/4 Cup Water
