Summer Season: Eat Bright, Colorful Fruits and Vegetables
There's something about bright colors that catch our eye. This weekend, we recommend heading to your local farmer's market and picking up locally grown and in season fruits and vegetables. You should get a range of colors and different types of both fruits and vegetables.
To increase your health, decrease blood pressure and lose weight, start eating between 10-15 servings of vegetables per day and 2-3 servings of fruit per day. A serving is a half-cup chopped or a medium sized fruit.
