The Best Non-Dairy Options - New Barn Almond Milk and Forager Cashew Milk

The next time you head to your favorite coffee shop or grocery store and you're looking for alternatives to milk, try using either almond milk or cashew milk. They're both amazing alternatives if you're lactose intolerant or looking for different options to regular milk and soy milk. If almond milk and cashew milk aren't your jam, try using either: coconut milk, hemp milk, flax milk or rice milk. All of these options can pack a lot of nutrients per serving and can be very low in sugar dependent on the brands that you purchase. Today I'm helping you filter through all those options to find the best of each type of non-dairy milk.  

When you're looking for the best options for non-dairy milks, it can be super overwhelming because of the amount of different brands and types of milks. Unsweetened, Sweetened, Vanilla, Chocolate, etc. Before you choose the right type of non-dairy milk for you, here are a few things to consider before you purchase. First and foremost, look for brands that are USDA Organic, many of the options available on the shelves aren't USDA Organic or they're partially organic. Next, opt for an unsweetened version if its available. If there isn't an unsweetened option, choose one that is sweetened by something natural like dates. And finally, choose an option that has real ingredients, like: almonds, cashews and dates; instead of ingredients that are derived from compounds that you'd find in a chemistry class.
