The Full Body Workout: All You Need Is A Swing!
One of the most effective ways to get your body lean, conditioned and lose weight is to integrate a workout that trains each muscle group to fatigue. Through my career as a personal trainer, I’ve found that training your upper body, then transitioning to an exercise for your lower body and finishing the set with an active rest using your core gives your body incredible results. When your upper body is resting, work your lower body and visa versa. You’ll be able to push the body further than you could if you were just working a single muscle group, plus you’ll get a lot more out of your workout!
In case you don’t have a TRX, the workout I’ve put together today integrates a swing, so the next time you’re at the park or the beach, you’re all set!
*Disclaimer: Make sure the swing can hold your weight. At playgrounds some swing sets only hold up to 50lbs.
The Workout: Complete each exercise in succession from 1-3 and repeat for a total of 4 sets.
Rows x 20 reps
Ab Rollouts x 10 reps
Lunges x 15 reps
Repeat.
